RIP, Lemmy, update

Chris Jericho has a segment at the start of his December 30th episode of Talk Is Jericho podcast, where he shares some memories of Lemmy. He also had him as a guest on ep. 108. I definitely suggest you listen.

Christmas Day Photos, Part Two

I'm back with more Christmas Day photos! I'm planning on doing more of this kind of photo post. That, of course, will mean I'm going to be doing a lot more walking around town, which will help with losing some of the gut fat.

Rest in Peace, Lemmy

He passed on after finding out he had an aggressive cancer on the 26th. He was the vocalist and bassist for the metal band Motörhead. I originally stumbled across them when I first started watching WWE, and they were doing Triple H's Entrance music. It was Lemmy's gravely growl that drew me into the music, and further into metal. While I don't listen to it as much as I do public radio or pop (I'm looking at you, Uptown Funk!), I still enjoy it.
I'll leave you with one of their videos. Watch, enjoy, and raise a cup in remembrance.

Christmas photos, part 1

As promised yesterday, here's some of the photos I took On Christmas Day. Mom and I headed out to get the paper, and to mail a belated Christmas card.

Yes, it really was this foggy.

A house on High  street.
I like how they've get their decorations simple and tasteful.

The Linda Baird house, East High Street
Don't have info on it, but may wind up over at the historical society to research.

Mom and I like the architecture on this home.

More tasteful decorations
This... This is how it should be done. Not the over-lit monstrosities that get airtime on ABC.

More architecture love
Yes, this is what I tend to take pictures  of.
Well, this and plants, Letort Spring Run, and the odd sunset.
Part two to come out tomorrow!

Here's the last of the photos  from December 11th. Tomorrow, I'll  be sharing some I took on Christmas Day while out walking with mom.

Photos from town, part two

As I promised, more photos I've taken around town! These are why Mom occasionally gets irked whenever we're out walking in town. I'll usually be the one making us look like tourists while taking a ton of pictures. At least y'all in Bloggyland get the results of the manic photo taking.

History on High storefront. I know it's a bit glare-y, and I'll be getting a better pic asap.

Photos from town

Since the keyboard's acting up, I'm going to post photos of town I took last week and on Monday for the next few days. Enjoy!

The old James Line (?) jewelry shop.
It was damaged in a fire several months back,
