GoFundMe for Mom's new (to her) car
Mom and I don't like having to go asking folks for help, so this is a big ask for either of us.
Main points from the GoFundMe page is that our current car is on its last legs, Mom uses it to get to and from work and doctor's appointments for both her and Bruce, she has health issues that worry her co-workers and I when they flair, and having working A/C in the car would help during the more humid weather, and prior financial BSery is keeping the credit union from giving her a loan to get it. Current car is a '98 Chrysler Cirrus, and the car/SUV she's looking to replace the poor thing with is a 2004 Honda CR-V from a local dealership on her way to work. Weirdly, the CR-V is also one that I've notice every time we've gone past it on our way to her cancer stuff.
