This kind of thing is precisely why I like this channel. (There's a couple others, but that's a whole other subject.) I'm sure there's other organizations that don't contribute as much as they'd have you believe to the research, but this strikes home particularly hard because of Mom. So yes, what I'm saying is do your due diligence when you're looking for something to donate to. Research the heck out of organizations! If something strikes you as off, or they don't give as much of their money to what they claim to be supporting, then don't give to them.
